Specific Graphics

LINKBACK BUTTONS:

Instead of normal text links, people can use link back buttons as a way to link to your blog. They are just small graphics, that add a little something to the linking fad we all take part of. You can have one made for your blog, or have your whole blog roll designed. Here are some examples of my link back buttons.

As you can see they come in various sizes, and can be completely different to suit your taste. A neat little trick is applied, and that is if you hover over the images, you will see my tagline pop-up. You can also have that coded for you as well. Not with my taglines of course, but with whatever you'd like.

Prices are $10.00 each or 3 for $15.00.
If you are interested in a whole blogroll list, there will be some savings there.

MEME GRAPHICS:

Meme's are all the riot these days, and people are constantly inventing other meme's to take part in. So if your one of these people, then your at the right place.

ENTRECARD CARDS:

Entrecard.com is a great way to get some exposure to your blog. It's essentially free ad space, and your free to design your ad however you'd like. The designs are 125x125 and should also follow suit of your blog. (You'll read that a lot here) It's a good idea to have it as a permanent design, but if your like me every time you change your blogs design, you'll change your card too.

Hey there and welcome to my page! My name is Kel, and I'm a married, 24 year old mother and self proclaimed graphic designer.

The idea of Design Bug, has been long in the making. After spending the past four years teaching myself html/CSS and developing my skills as a designer in Adobe Photoshop, I decided to make it a career. I'm a full time stay at home mom, and love having this creative outlet to help provide for the things my boys need, and get to help and teach people along the way. I am currently in college for a graphic design/visual communications degree.

I don't claim to be a professional, nor do I even know everything a standard graphic designer does. Things change all the time and I'm still learning. I always give it a 110% to meet your needs. Just take a look around my site here, and see if I can help you with something. Don't hesitate to ask any questions on how to do this, or how to do that, if your just stuck on a project as long as the subject matter stays relevant to this site. Blog Headers

Blog headers are the top graphics in your blog or website, it's usually the first thing that people see and is almost as important as your content.

If your a personal blogger with a personality niche, that's all you really need in your header, is some personality. If your a niche blogger, like food, or "make money" blogger, then that's the theme your header needs to have as well. To sum it up, it's good to match it. Make your first impression count!

There are numerous ways to design a blog header, and I'm willing to work with you until your satisfied. Just contact me to email your ideas, and get on your way to a fabulous, and well suited blog header.

Prices for blog headers start at $15 and can go up to $25, depending on the "weight" of it.

Headers are not limited to blogs, they are also available with a Youtube account, so if you need one for Youtube, then you can request that as well. :)

Whole Blogspot Designs

Having seen a thousand or more blog designs, and having designed hundreds of them, I pretty much know the in's and outs of designing them. I can only design blogspot designs. I can also do standard css tweaking to suit. Wordpress templates are not available at this time. I also cannot build a template from scratch. I can get a base, and build up from there to fit your design needs.

Here are some examples of the designs I've done:

Full blog designs range from $60-$80 dollars, depending on the needs, and amount of time spent. I can guarantee your satisfaction, and will work with you all the way.

Photography Designs

Don't have editing software, but want to do something special with your photos? Then let me help you. From scrapbook worthy edit, to bringing photos new life, I can do a lot with photography.

Sometimes old photos need new life, take the old black and white photo here, after coloring it in a little bit, there is new life to it!

Prices for all photography work is $10.00 per photo or 5 photos for $40.00.

What a pleasant process and delightful results! I admit, I’m still looking at my new header and template with some joy and wonder.

In under 24 hours, my blog went from a tweaked cookie-cutter template that really didn’t meet my needs, to a clean, functional, fun and unique template that is precisely what I needed all along.

The designer really examined my blog and understood the spirit of it, to capture the right look. Re: Design Bug
This note is to recommend that you NOT hire Design Bug to be your graphics designer.
Unlike real designers, Design Bug replied to my e-mails quickly and promptly. She then showed just how green she is by returning with a completed design in just a few hours. REAL designers finish your projects in a few hours, too. But only AFTER doing anything but work for the first week or two and then rushing to do it at the last minute.
It gets worse. After the first draft, I made a few notes and sent them back to her. She replied with a new IMPROVED design within the hour! My God! Someone needs to report her to the Designers Guild. Everyone knows you are supposed to sulk for a least a day or two before replying to the idiotic, taste challenged, client who blindly rejected your first draft.
In her favor, I must admit that the designs were excellent. I got a new header, new subheader and a new favicon for the Daily Egg and my users have complimented them. To look at the graphics, no one would know that the designer was clueless. So clueless about the design business that she didn't charge nearly enough. I over paid her out of sheer guilt as she is a stay-at-home mom.
Please, do not hire Design Bug to dress up your website. I would like to keep her for my very own.
